It Was Not Me

from Deep by Kevin Dellinger

/

lyrics

It wasn't me that caused you misery
It wasn't me that created this world
It wasn't me that decided to cause you pain
It wasn't me that made you insane

It was the self serving nature of Humanity
That led to the downfall of your civilization
Not willing to share
Not willing to care

Only to feed off of the innocent of the lands

It is a constant torturing cycle of repetition
That one day will come to an end
maybe from depopulation
But the results will always be the same
If you learn to love
Instead of Blame

It wasn't me that decided the fate of this world
It wasn't me that caused you this pain
So while you fight struggle and make the same mistakes
I will be watching you repeat it over and over again
